Finally finished

I finally finished the baby kimono. That had to be one of the most boring knits. Nothing but the knit stitch, over and over and over. Last night I was ready to throw it across the room for some excitedment, but I finished the knitting and seamed it together.

(Sorry the picutre is so bad)

I made this out of leftover Peaches'N'Cream in Ecru from the bathmat. I still have to get some ribbon to tie it together. And now I am left hoping the baby is small enough to wear it. Now I just have to start the items for the big sister. I think I am going to go with a boa and maybe a fun purse.

The plans continue for the weekend. Shane has finally figured out what is wrong with his car. Luckily my BIL owns a dealership and is going to let Shane use the workshop to fix the starter. This saves me from having to get my Dad's car to use.

Nate really wanted to play outside last night but the weather was being uncooperative. So, I went to Ben's room and got out his Lite-Bright (which he got two years ago and has played with once). Nate loved it. He played with it for the longest time and only quit for some ice cream and a bath.

He liked using the sheets that had already been punched out.

The bridal shop fixed the problem with the bridesmaids dresses. She apparently thought that the darker shade of red was what was important. But Christina straightened her out and said we just want them to match, a half a shade lighter of red isn't a big deal. It really isn't except that I now wonder if the wrap will look good next to us. Luckily she won't be standing directly next to our dresses most of the time, so it should be okay. If not, it doesn't really matter, she loves the wrap and that is what counts.

Glad they straightened out the bridesmaid dresses - aren't bridal shops so helpful? NOT!
